Do I have to give you my Instagram password?

Never. You paste six digits in your bio for a few seconds, we read your public profile and see them, and you delete them. That is the whole proof that the account is yours.

Will the person who unfollowed me know?

No. We only read what Instagram already shows to anyone: your public follower list. Nothing is sent, liked or viewed under your name.

Does it work on a private account?

No. A private account hides its follower list from everyone, so there is nothing we can legitimately read. Your account has to be public, and under 1,000 followers: past that, reading it every day costs more than the subscription.

How fast do I hear about an unfollow?

We re-read your followers once a day, so a departure reaches you within 24 hours. The very first read only records who is there today: the comparison starts from the next one.

Can I see who left before I signed up?

No, and nobody can. Instagram never publishes when someone unfollowed. Your history starts the day you connect your account.

What do you do with my number?

It is used to send your alerts, nothing else. No resale, no spam. Tap the stop link in any message and we stop for good.
