Peek is operated by PICK SAS. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

What we collect

Your phone number (to send SMS alerts and identify your account), and the public Instagram usernames you choose to track. We do not ask for your name, email, or any Instagram password. Peek has no login.

How we use it

Only to deliver the service: send you alerts, show tracked public follows, and process payments. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We do not store media long-term — only a short-lived cache.

SMS / text messages

When you enter your phone number on peekfollowing.com and submit the form, you opt in to receive text messages from Peek: a one-time login code, and an alert when a public account you chose to track follows someone new. Message frequency varies with the accounts you track. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.

We do not sell your phone number. No mobile information — your phone number or SMS opt-in — is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It is shared only with our SMS provider (Twilio), strictly to deliver the messages you asked for.

Processors we rely on

Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), and our hosting and database providers. They process data only to run Peek. Public Instagram data is retrieved through a third-party API.

Your rights & retention

You can delete your account at any time, which removes your number and tracked accounts. Under GDPR you may request access to or deletion of your data.

Own a public Instagram account shown on Peek? Email support@peekfollowing.com and we remove it: its data is deleted, and it is never checked or shown again, including in other people's lists.
